Do you know that failure can be part of your process for successfully losing weight? Do you know the obstacles that are holding you back from losing weight after you made your resolution to lose weight? Maybe you have been having a difficult time consistently eating 4 to 5 servings of fruits and veggies per meal.
Don't blame yourself. You are not alone. This is a good time to check your progress in your weight loss for the year. After all we are now almost 4 months into the year. If you haven't weighed yourself in a longtime, weigh yourself today. This way you have an idea how much weight you have lost since January.
Do you know that failure can be a good thing? if you have failed to lose weight because you haven't been adding fruits and veggies to your daily meal, then you can easily and successfully begin to lose weight by adding fruits and veggies. You don't have to start 4 to 5 fruits and veggies; you can start with 2 or 3 servings per meal.
Did you add fruits and veggies without cutting down on your food portion? Where you too stressed out to court down on your carbs or pleasure fruits? Check your situation and find out which one applies to you. Personally, I found out that sometimes, I simply need a break from doing everything right. What?
When this happens, I find myself eating more carbs and cookies. However, this mood or phase does not last long, when I weigh myself the following morning. Once I weigh myself, the next day, I remind myself why I wanted to lose weight which was to protect my health and increase my vitality.
I don't get mad at myself: I remind myself that I can make up for yesterday failures today. First I take more oranges , bananas and nuts like peanuts, and almonds. What is your own go to food choice and type, when you deal with one of those days? Do you like to eat yoghurts? If you are not sure, what you are dealing with or your failures, do your own 72-hour food audit.
If fruits, veggies are not enough for you, add intermittent fasting to your weight loss plan. Please remember to check with your doctor or healthcare provider, before you start fasting.
