Do you  have an everything-is-related  approach to weight loss ?

How has your weight-loss journey gone this year? This is a good time to check your progress especially if you made a New Year's resolution to lose weight and keep it off.

If you focus simply on what you eat, without dealing with some of the factors that affect how you think and act, you will find keeping weight off and protecting your health more challenging. This is why the relentless weight-loss made easy is a holistic approach to weight-loss and eating smart!

Did you know that everything you do can affect your weight? Do you have an everything-is-related or holistic approach to weight loss or eating smart? Don’t assume that because you failed in your previous attempts at losing weight that you will fail again. Invest in yourself. Make your weight loss and diet holistic!

Ask yourself questions that will help you recognize which aspects of your relationship with others could either be contributing to your weight gain or making it more difficult for you to eat right and lose weight.

Is the blame game that occurs when things go wrong? Is the daily struggle to get others to pay attention to your concerns? Is it conversational stress?

Remember that when you are communicating with others, they will interact with you from their own perspective, worldview, personality or experience. Their own personal interest will drive the relationship more than equity or the truth.

Sometimes this can kind of interaction can affect how you feel about  yourself and how you eat. You have to remember that even those who love you or live with, sometimes  only focus on  your faults. May be from the beginning of the year, you have adding 4 servings of veggies and fruits to your  meals as part of your New Year resolution to lose weight without going on complicated diets. No one commended you for your consistency or complimented you on your effort, but on the day you eat no servings of fruits and veggies, your spouse, kids, or friend then asks you, why you haven't been adding veggies or fruits to your meals!! Excuse me?  Has this happened to you?

Don’t let this frustrate you or disrupt your focus on losing weight. Don't get stressed out. Remember that the more you reduce stress the less likely you will attempt to use eating to keep stress off. Do the best you can and leave the rest.

Keep in mind that everything affects your weight loss and narrow your focus to finding out more about how you can consistently implement your daily strategy for weight loss, rather than other people's comments and opinion. Stay mission focused.  A weight loss journal will help you keep track of the different aspects of your weight loss journey. You can also sign up for the Compass Wellness Challenge to learn different simple, smart and easy ways, you can improve your dimensions of wellness, and live a healthier and better life!
