Stop assuming you’re going to fail. One way to become more optimistic is to change your outlook for the outcome of your daily encounters or events. Though you may have failed at business, projects, exams or relationships in the past, you don't have to assume you will fail in the future. I know this is easier said than done. However you have to stop assuming you're going to fail. Don’t think your negative thoughts into coming true and produce a bad ending for yourself.
The second way to live a more optimistic life is Keeping busy. There is an old saying that an idle mind is the devil's workshop. It is easy to get into a negative examination of your life if you allow negative thoughts to dominate your thinking. If you keep busy your mind will not have enough time to dwell on the negative, because you will be busy getting things done. Engage in positive activities such as gardening, cooking, taking a class, visiting friends or family, reading a good book or exercising.
The third way to live a more optimistic life is to form the habit of thinking about what you can make happen. This means than rather than thinking of all the negative things that can happen to you, you focus more on the ways you get more things done and become more consistent at making your daily goals a reality. When you make yourself think more about what you can do to make positive things and events happen in your life, you will make your life more optimistic, healthy, and fulfilled.
